El proyecto de creación del Instituto Universitario del Agua y el Saneamiento (IUAS) abre la posibilidad de propiciar nuevas prácticas y enfoques en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje.

En este marco, que como parte de las acciones del Programa Cero  FUTRASAFODE-IUAS, consideramos imprescindible la formación de profesionales para el ejercicio de la educación superior pensando la docencia universitaria como una profesión académica.
Creemos que esta profesión requiere de competencias múltiples que, se inscriben e implican procesos de formación continua.
Es por eso que, formar “formadores” para la educación superior implica gestionar un proceso crítico que revise las prácticas profesionales de base y las conjugue en un nuevo lenguaje pedagógico.

“Lecciones de Formación Docente para la Educación Superior” es una iniciativa que incluye un diseño curricular que propone a los participantes adquirir herramientas para un desempeño profesional transformador de la realidad a los aspirantes a conformar el plantel docente del IUAS.

El trayecto pretende desde el encuentro de experiencias y nuevos conocimientos, brindar estrategias innovadoras que se vinculen con la posibilidad fundacional de la creación de una casa de altos estudios dedicada al derecho esencial al agua y saneamiento.
De esta manera los docentes se convierten en un agente del cambio como parte del engranaje indispensable para una educación en clave de futuro.

El Taller se dicta en 12 encuentros presenciales y se complementa con trabajo en el campus virtual de la FUTRASAFODE.
